[Alcazar's
Limo]
(Dillon climbs in and shuts the door)
Dillon: I'm serious. I mean, Faith is,
like, out to kill Georgie. She made me give her an alibi for this whole
hit-and-run thing by saying I slept with her.
Lorenzo: Yeah. Faith threatened your girlfriend
to get you to cooperate.
Dillon: yeah. Now she's looking for her.
I mean, that's why she sent those two thugs to get me to say where she
was.
Lorenzo: Give me a good reason why I should
help you.
Dillon: Because I'll pay you back.
Lorenzo: (holds up finger) I don't need
money.
Dillon: I'm not talking about money. I
mean, I'll work for you. You know, I'll do whatever you want. You name
the job, I am there, I swear.
Lorenzo: All right. I'll keep you and Georgie
safe.
Dillon: (breathes a sigh of relief and
smiles) Thank you. I really appreciate this. (Looks out the window and
then back at Lorenzo) Where should we meet you?
Lorenzo: My apartment. I'll figure out
a way to pacify Faith.
Dillon: You're not going to regret this.
(Starts to open the door and get out)
Lorenzo: I don't plan to. (Puts a hand
on Dillon's shoulder causing him to stop) You want one of my men to
go with you?
Dillon: (Smiles) No, that's ok. I...I've
got her in a safe place.
[Barn]
Man: (shining a flashlight in Georgie's
face) What are you doing in my barn?
Georgie: I was just on my way home and
I stopped to rest.
Man: You've been hitchhiking?
Georgie: Well, yeah.
Man: All by yourself?
Georgie: (Starting to head for the door)
I'm sorry for trespassing, I'm just going...
Man: Oh, no no. Not so fast.
Man:
My brother-in-law is the sherrif, maybe I should give him a call. Get
him out here to press charges. (Walking forward, causing Georgie to
walk backwards)
Georgie: (Scared) I didn't touch anything.
I just rested.
Man: This barn is a half a mile from the
highway. What are you doing?
Georgie: I...I was just walking, you know,
and I saw this place
Man: (Laughs) Oh, sweetheart. You are one
rotten liar.
(Georgie starts to walk around him to leave)
Georgie: I'm just going to get back on
the road.
Man: (Grabs her arm) Without showing me
how greatful you are?
(Dillon
walks up and sees Georgie with the farmer)
Man: Oh, what is a pretty young thing like
you doing out here by herself?
Georgie: Let go of me! (Trying to get her
arm out of the man's grip)
Man: Oh no. YOu go looking for trouble
sugar, you're going to find it.
(Dillon steps in the doorway and flashes his wallet)
Dillon: (Deep voice) F.B.I. Freeze. (Walks
in) You can step back, sir. I'll take it from here.
(Man lets go of Georgie's arm)
Man: F.B.I. what the heck?
Dillon: (Grabs Georgie's arm) This girl
is in violation of public code. I'm her to take her into custody.
Man: Are you kidding? She's just a kid.
Dillon: Oh, no. No she's not. Don't let
that girl-next-dorr look fool you.
Man: What'd she do?
Dillon: (Stands in front of Georgie after
letting go of her arm) Have you ever heard of Lorenzo Alcazar?
Man: No.
Dillon: International crime lord, drug
dealer, recently moved his product upstate New York and into parts of
New England.
Man: Well, what's...what's he got to do
with her?
Dillon: Oh, well, this (makes quote symbols
with his fingers) "girl" here (picks up his jacket and sniffs
it) is one of his runners. Picked her up when she was 12 years old,
and she's been dealing drugs for him ever since.
Man: Her?
(Dillon looks at Georgie who looks confused)
Dillon:
This girl's been eluding F.B.I. agents for months...hiding out, taking
back alleys.
Georgie: I've been covering my tracks.
How the hell did you find me?
Dillon: You placed a call to an underground
informant to get transportation to Canada. (To the man) We tapped her
phone lines.
Georgie: Damn.
Man: You know, I did think there was something
fishy about her.
Dillon: Good instincts, sir. We respect
that. You are doing your civic duty.
Man: Well, I try to be a good citizen
Dillon: And the F.B.I. thanks you. (A helicopter
approaches) One moment. (Pulls out his cell phone) Guys, hey, call off
the chopper we don't need it. No, we got her in the barn. Yeah (looks
at the man) the owner seems to have cornered her. What? Oh yeah, I'll
tell him. Mm-hmm. (Hangs up) Good news, sir seems like the reward for
her capture's been upped to $50,000.
Man: $50,00?
Dillon: That's right. An agent will be
contacting you within the hour to find out when and where you can pick
up your reward.
(Helicoper departs)
Man: So should...should I go back to my
house?
Dillon: Uh, yeah.
Man: What about her?
Dillon: Hey, you've done your job. I'll
take it from here. You've acted competentally and courageously. We respect
that, and we thank you. By the way, we might want to be putting you
on "America's Most Wanted Felons" would you be up to that?
Man: Well, if I can help educate the public
on the rewards of being a law-abiding citizen. I'd be more than glad
to do my part.
Dillon: Couldn't have said it better myself.
Thank you, sir.
Man: (To Georgie) Maybe this will teach
you, crime doesn't pay. (Leaves)
(Once the man is gone, Georgie literally jumps into Dillon's arms. Dillon
hold her legs)
Georgie: (Pulls back) It's official...You
are a genius! (Hugs him)
(Georgie's
sitting on a hay bushel and Dillon's quietly closing the door)
Georgie: How'd you think up all that stuff?
Dillon: (Turns to face her) I have no idea.
I got that from like...(walks towards her) I don't know...10 different
movies.
Georgie: I love it. My 15 minutes of fame
as a bad girl.
Dillon: And our perverted, weird, freaky
farmer (sits down on a bushel of hay across from her) thinks that you
are a vicious criminal.
Georgie: Well that bought us a little bit
of time but we've really got to get out of here.
Dillon: Uh-uh. Faith ain't going to touch
you.
Georgie: What did you do?
Dillon: I went to Alcazar and I told him
that I need his help and that I would do anything for it if he protected
you.
Georgie: But what if he has more jobs for
you?
Dillon: That doesn't matter. I'll cross
that bridge when ic ome to it, ya know?
Georgie: Do you think he's going to hurt
Faith?
Dillon: I don't know. But he did say something
about pacifying her and I don't know how fun that sounds but I don't
car. I mean, I really...I really don't care. You're safe and...and that's
all that matters to me right now (Touches her hands)
Georgie: I'm really sorry for blowing everything
with Mac. I should've...(Dillon stands up) I should've just trusted
(stands up) you when you asked me to shut my mouth.
Dillon: no, it's fine. Everything's going
to be all right. (Kisses her)
(Faith opens the door and walks in causing Georgie and Dillon to break
apart looking at her both scared/surprised)
Faith: Did you tell your little girlfriend
about our little arrangement Dillon? See, it went something like this...(points
to Dillon) you talk. (Points to Georgie) You die.
(Dillon
walks over to Faith)
Dillon: Stay away from her Faith.
Georgie: She won't hurt me.
Faith: And why is that?
Georgie: BEcause my father's the police
commissioner and he will hunt you down and throw you in prison for the
rest of your life.
Faith: For that to happen, he'd have to
find a trace of you, buttercup.
Dillon: Actually, your'e the one whose
going to be in pieces. Lorenzo Alcazar gave us his protection.
Faith: (Laughs) Sure he did.
Dillon: Look, you want to hurt her, you
got to kill me
Faith: Oh gosh. Knight in shining armor.
Well, it's touching but a waste of time
Dillon: Just leave her alone, Faith.
Faith: Sweetheart, keep your shirt on.
You're little girlfriend here is off the hook. See, the police have
realized that I'm innocent. They've dropped all the charges, so I am
willing to forgive Georgie, as a favor to you (touches his cheek) for
the night we spent together. (Kisses his cheek) Who knows...maybe I
can use you again sometime. (Leaves)
Georgie: Are you sure nothing happend that
night you were with her?
(Dillon turns around and looks at her and then walks over to her and
hugs her)
Dillon: Nothing.
