[General Hospital]
(Ned is hugging Monica)
Ned: Any news?
(They pull apart)
Monica: Uh, Dr. Misra is in with her now. (Dillon and Georgie walk up) Where's Alan?
Ned: He and grandfather went to pick up AJ. They'll be here.
Dillon: Hey, um, how's Emily?
Ned: Well we're waiting to hear. She had a seizure.
Zander: She's unconscious
Ned: Hey Georgie? (Georgie turns to look at Ned) You mind if I talk to Dillon a moment alone?
Georgie: Sure.
(Ned and Dillon move off to the side. Georgie stays in hearing distance)
Dillon: Ned, I am so sorry, you know, I should've gotten to know Emily...
Ned: No, no I'm the one who should be apologizing to you.
Dillon: For what?
Ned: For not being around more. I mean, I've been so preoccupied with Alexis, and the baby, and ELQ, and now Emily...
Dillon: Ned, forget it. Please forget it. I don't want...
Ned: No, I can't because your my brother. You're in an impossible situation, and I want to help you. So my question to you is do you want my help?

Ned: I have an idea. Why don't I find an evening next week and we'll go shoot some pool, hang out.
Dillon: Ned, you don't have to do this just because Emily's sick, ok?
Ned: Look, Emily's illness has reminded me of what's really important, and you deserve better.
Dillon: Its really no problem, all right? I mean it you have been really decent to me. You have been really decent...
Ned: Whoa, whoa, whoa! Maybe you can do something over at ELQ for the rest of the summer. Yeah. I mean at lest we'll get a chance to see each other rather than just at the breakfast buffet in the living room
Dillon: You're...you're offering me a job?
Ned: Yeah.
Dillon: Doing what?
Ned: Learning, mostly. Office work
Dillon: Can I...can I think about it?
Ned: No worries.
Dillon: Ok.
Ned: Job's there if you want it.
Dillon: Ok. Thanks you (Leaves and goes over to Georgie)
Georgie: Hey. That looked great.
Dillon: Hi. Can you get me out of here?
Georgie: Sure. Come on.
(They both leave)

[Roof]
Georgie: If you could be anyone who would you be?
Dillon: Uh, Scorsese.
Georgie: Who?
Dillon: He's a...he's a director. You ever heard of "Mean Streets"?
Georgie: Isn't that a gangster movie?
Dillon: It's an american classic
Georgie: But everyone ends up alone in those stories.
Dillon: Yeah, but first they're intense and they're passionate
Georgie: And they're dead.
(Dillon laughs)
Dillon: You don't like that idea, huh?
Georgie: Well sure as a movie it's great but as a life goal, no.
Dillon: I...I guess its kind of the difference between...you know living and then living on the edge. Like...like summer job at ELQ...working for Lorenzo Alcazar.
Georgie: We always go back to that guy. Why?
Dillon: Because he commands attention. You know, he just...walks into the room and it's like people just see him, you know?
Georgie: Well, yeah, sure they're afraid they're going to get shot. What's the real reason?
Dillon: I think maybe because he notices me?
Georgie: Ned notices you.
Dillon: Ned notices me because he feels obligated to notice me. I mean, I like Ned but...but he doesn't have a clue about who I am and if he did know, would he even like me? You know, how...how, how friggen weird is it that this supposed killer, drug dealer evil guy thinks I have more potential than most of my family thinks I do?
Georgie: So you're saying you want Alcazar to like you?
Dillon: I'm saying I want to matter to someone.
Georgie: Ok, all right, if you want to matter to someone, forget about the Quartermaines and Lorenzo Alcazar. In case you haven't noticed, Dillon, you matter to me. Not because you carry a gun or you're some famous director but because you're you.
Dillon: (Smiles) Well, if that's true...
Georgie: It is.
Dillon: Then being me pretty much rocks
(They kiss)
