[General
Hospital]
(Georgie just finished her shift and is getting ready to leave when
Dillon walks up)
Dillon: Hey.
Georgie: Hey.
Dillon: Are you free of your candy-striping
servitude for the evening?
Georgie: yeah but I got to go home. Mac's
working late tonight.
Dillon: Good, good, even better. I got
a...I have a fun idea.
Georgie: Yeah? What kind of idea?
Dillon: The kind that gives us time alone.
How's that?
Dillon:
I am taking you to The Cellar.
Georgie: That worked out really great for
Maxie last time, and have you seen the new bouncer? He's huge, and there's
no way...
Dillon: He's not going to be there. Cellar
closes early on weeknights. All I have to do is pop the lock and we
have the entire place to ourselves.
Georgie: Breaking and entering? That'll
go over really great with Mac.
Dillon: Yeah, but it's not like we're going
to trash the place. I mean, nobody's even going to know we're there.
Come on picture it, ok? (Moves behind her and puts a hand on her arm)
Dim lights, soft music, camera pans back to reveal a couple dancing
on the dance floor, swaying to the music. Could be Cairo, could be Tangier...
Georgie: Wait.
Dillon: Could...
Georgie: What movie is this from?
Dillon: (Moves back in front of her) "The
Confidential Woman." George Raft, 1943.
Georgie: Raft? You know that's a strange
name...
Dillon: Forget George Raft, OK? This is
our night. Nobody to bother us (Maxie walks off the elevator and stops
when she hears Dillon and Georgie talking), we're going to have the
entire place to ourselves. Nobody to crash in on us. Please.
Please. Please.
Georgie: OK, yes.
Dillon: Great.
Georgie: OK, but if we're going to go on
our secret date to The Cellar, than don't you think I kind of need to
change first?
(Maxie hears the plan and then leaves to hide)
Dillon: Georgie, nobody's going to see
you but me and I think you'd look great even if you were just wearing
a trash bag. Come on, let's go.
(Both head for the elevator and Dillon does a little bow as the elevator
door opens)
Georgie: Why, thank you (Gets on the elevator,
followed by Dillon)
(Maxie comes out with a plan in mind)
[The Cellar]
(Dillon breaks in and Georgie and him are walking down the stairs)
Georgie: OK, you realize there's some...maybe
some silent alarm we tripped and...we'll be on our way to prison!
(Both stop on the stairs)
Dillon: Would you stop being so pessimistic?
(Both start to walk inside the club) I mean, who runs this club? Mobsters
right? Mobsters. You think they're going to install an alarm system
that'll bring attention to the cops? No way. Come on, you know I'm right.
Georgie: Maybe.
Dillon: You're loving this aren't you?
Look at you. Admit it.
Georgie: OK This place...this place is
pretty nice when it's empty.
(Dillon moves Georgie to a certain spot on the dance floor)
Dillon: Come here. Just stand right there.
Don't move. (Heads over to the bar) Don't move. (Georgie puts her purse
down) (Dillon flips a switch and turns on a red light reflecting off
a disco ball)
Georgie: Wow.
Dillon: And I got the sound system working
(music plays loudly) One second, one second (turns the music down)
Georgie: Much better. (Dillon heads over
to her) It's nice music. A little old-fashioned?
Dillon: (Moves closer to her) Big band
music from the 40's.
Georgie: It's kind of like that movie,
isn't it?
Dillon: (Smiles as he continues to move
forward) Yeah. Same period.
Georgie: Well does it have a happy ending?
Dillon: Are you asking me if um, if the
guy (puts her arm on his shoulder) gets the girl? (Moves closer to her)
Georgie: Mm-hmm
Dillon: Well, then, yes it does. (Is inches
from her)
Georgie: I think I want to see it sometime.
Dillon: I'll tell you what, how about I
show you right now?
Georgie: OK
(Dillon kisses her)
(Door opens and they pull apart)
Georgie: Whoa.
(They run and hide behind the bar, turning off the lights and music
as Maxie comes down the stairs followed by Zach and Kyle)
Maxie: Georgie? Dillon? I know you guys
are down here. I heard you guys at the hospital.
(Georgie stands up)
Georgie: Maxie, get out of her and take
those losers with you!
(Dillon stands up)
Zach: Whoa step back. Hostile chick at
12:00
(Maxie and Kyle laugh)
Maxie: If I leave, Georgie, I'll go straight
to Mac and tell him what you're doing.
Zach: Oh.
(The lights
and music are back on and Zach, Maxie and Kyle are dancing while Dillon
and Georgie are sitting at the bar)
Dillon: I'm sorry.
Georgie: It's not your fault. I'm the one
who caved in when Maxie said, "I'm going to go to Mac."
Dillon: Well, you know what, just because
somebody crashed it doesn't mean it has to end (takes her hand) Come
on. (Pulls her out onto the dance floor and they dance)
(Kyle gives Zach some pills)
Zach: Mm. Thanks dude.
Kyle: Any time. (Goes to Maxie and shows
her the pills) For you?
Maxie: No thanks. I don't always need a
pill to have a good time.
Zach: Hey check this out (does sound effects
with machine)
(Dillon walks up)
Dillon: Hey. (Tries to move Zach's arm)
Party's over.
(Zach's hand goes back ad knocks glasses off the counter and the music
stops)
Zach: Man, who put the glasses there?
Kyle: Yo, hey, hey it's not like you own
the place.
(Georgie walks over to Maxie)
Georgie: Thanks a lot, Maxie
Maxie: What's your problem, Georgie? You're
the one who broke in here, yeah.
Georgie: Yeah to be alone with Dillon.
Not to babysit you and those freaks!
Maxie: Um, wait Dillon's the one whose
hobbies include grand-theft and breaking and entering Georgie.
Georgie: No, my boyfriend's not all doped
out all the time.
Maxie: Why do we do this, Georgie? I mean,
you say you're looking out for me and I say I'm looking out for you
and all we do is fight. Why don't we just mind each other's business?
Georgie: Great! Fine by me. Starting now.
(Lights go out) Stairs are that way (points to the stairs)
Maxie: OK, guys that's not funny, turn
back on the lights.
Dillon: Uh, wasn't us. I don't know, maybe
the lights are on a timer or something.
(Lights turn on and Maxie and Georgie both turn to see two big guys
with gas cans in their hands)
Man: Look what we have here.
Second Man: No problem. A rack of barbecued
kids will make this look even worse for Corinthos.
(Maxie,
Kyle, Dillon, Georgie and Zach are all sitting on the floor. Dillon
is protectively hold Georgie from behind. One man is holding a gun on
them)
Zach: I'm too young to die.
Kyle: Shut up before you get us all killed.
Man: Hey pretty boy, you keep talking you'll
die first.
Dillon: Hey...um you know who my grandfather
is? (Georgie hints at him to be quiet) Edward Quartermaine. Practically
runs this town. And these girls' father is the police commissioner.
How do you like that?
Man: Well, the headlines are getting better
by the minute. (To the other guy) Soak the place.
Dillon: The, um, police commissioner is
on his way to pick us up right now, so you know, if you guys leave,
you won't get arrested, probably.
Man: Nice try, kid.
Dillon: Well, I'll tell you one thing...if
my boss finds out about this, you guys are going to be toast.
Man: Now its your boss I'm supposed to
be scared of?
Dillon: Yeah. Yeah, because my boss is
Lorenzo Alcazar (starts to let go of Georgie, she's holding on to his
hand)
Man: Yeah, as a matter of fact.
Dillon: Yeah well then you know he's not
someone you want to mess with cause he and me (starts to stand up, Georgie
still has a hold of his hand and won't let go) we're tight. (Georgie
finally lets go) we are pretty darn tight (standing all the way up)
and if he finds out that you torched this place with us in it (Alcazar
shows up behind him) he's...he's going to be mad and you don't want
that. This guy is a serious bad ass.
Lorenzo: (Walks in) Am I?
(Dillon turns and sees him)
Lorenzo:
(To the 2 men) Get out.
Man: But Mr. Alcazar...
Lorenzo: I don't know who you are. Let's
keep it that way. Go. (2 guys leave) (To Georgie, Maxie, Kyle and Zach)
You got a reprieve. I suggest you leave while you still can (Maxie,
Kyle, Georgie and Zach all stand up and run out, Georgie stays back)
Maxie: Georgie, come on. Come on, let's
go!
Georgie: No...
Maxie: Georgie, come on! (leaves)
Georgie: Maxie, I'm going with Dillon
Maxie: Georgie!
(Dillon starts to leave)
Lorenzo: (Stops him) Not you.
Dillon: (To Georgie) Go ahead. I'll catch
up with you in a minute.
Georgie: No, Dillon I'm not going to...
Dillon: Please, just go. Just go, please.
(Georgie leaves)
Lorenzo: You're dangerous.
Dillon: (Smiles) Thanks.
Lorenzo: That's not a compliment. You're
out of control. You're always in the wrong place at the wrong time.
But you think on your feet and you seem to have a knack for survival.
Dillon: I guess that's not a compliment
either.
Lorenzo: Think of it as advice. You keep
messing in my business I'm going to have to do something about you.
Dillon: Like what?
Lorenzo: Well I'm either going to have
to kill you or put you on my pay roll.
Dillon: (laughs) Is that like a job offer
or something?
Lorenzo: If I need a gofer I'll call you
(leaves)
(Dillon sighs with relief and walks over to a chair and sits down. Seconds
later, Georgie runs down the stairs and over to him)
Georgie: Oh my God, Dillon! I saw him leave!
Are you OK? What happened?
Dillon: Uh, no, I'm good. I...he's...I
said...I said, "Hey you can do whatever you want to me but you
leave my gal alone." That's what I said.
Georgie: You're so full of it. (Dillon
laughs) But also amazingly brave. Thank you. (Hugs him)
